Cheats Satay Chicken
Quick and easy satay with lots of flavor. A goto dish for the whole family.
Equipment
- 1 Wok or deep frypan
- 1 Chopping board
Ingredients
- 700 grams Chicken breast or thigh fillet Or combination of the two
- 2 tbsp Nasi Goreng Rice Paste Or a Korma curry paste
- 1 can Coconut Cream
- 2 tbsp Peanut Butter Crunchy or smooth, your choice
- 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 2 Onion One red one white if possible
Instructions
- Cut chicken into cubes or bite sized pieces and mix in bowl with 1tbsp Nsai Goreng Rice Paste. Allow to marinate for an hour if possible.700 grams Chicken breast or thigh fillet
- Thinly slice the onions2 Onion
- Fry onions on medium heat until soft2 Onion
- Increase heat add Nasi Goreng paste and fry until fragrant.2 tbsp Nasi Goreng Rice Paste
- Add chicken pieces and fry until browned all over700 grams Chicken breast or thigh fillet
- Add coconut cream, peanut butter and brown sugar. The sauce will sweeten as it thickens so add the sugar a little at a time to get your desired sweetness1 can Coconut Cream, 2 tbsp Peanut Butter, 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
- Lower heat and simmer for around 20 mins. The sauce will thicken and darken.
- Serve on rice rice. Delish!
